Now that NARCh Winternats on the west coast is behind us, I have had some time to reflect on the first big event of the 2012 tournament season. As most of you know I coach the Revision Vanquish program based out of Southern California on top of my normal Revision based duties, so tournaments can get a bit hectic. The Revision Mustangs traveled down to Corona CA. last weekend to compete in the AAU West Coast Winternationals.

The Mite Team won the AA Gold final and the Squirts took the Silver medal in the A division.  A great showing to end the 2011 tournament season.  When Narch is held in their own barn at The Silver Creek SportsPlex the Mustangs always have a huge presence and usually take home some hardware.  The  Mustangs and their coach Jose Mondragon are looking to add to their trophy case this January and July in San Jose.

Tyler Walser has had quite an incredible 2011, and it isn’t over yet.  Tyler represented USA Roller Hockey in the Czech Republic at the IIHF World Championships and then again in Roccarasso Italy for the FIRS World Championships.  After a few trips over seas he came back to play NARCH Pro for our Revision Vanquish Team in Florida and for New York Pro at State Wars Finals in Cincinnati Ohio.  Read more

The Revision Vanquish will be holding it’s 2011/2012 tournament team tryouts on Saturday October 1st, 2011.  The tryouts will be held at the Rinks Irvine (formerly 949 Roller Hockey Center) 3150 Barranca Parkway Irvine, CA.  Revision Vanquish is Southern California’s premier inline hockey program. Featured teams include: NARCh Pro / Division 1, Vanquish 93/94, Vanquish 96, Vanquish 99, and Vanquish Women.  This year we hope to continue to grow our program in hopes of providing young players with the training and coaching to help bring their game to the next level.  The Vanquish program stresses discipline, decision making, player movement, and advanced concepts that AA/AAA players must develop to one day compete at the highest attainable level for their skill set. We look forward to seeing you there!

Times are as follows:

4pm-5pm 2001-2004 birth years (Atom & Mite).

5pm-6pm 1996-1990 birth years ( Bantam AA/AAA, Midget, Junior, AIHL Minor).

6pm – 7pm 1997-2000 birth years ( Squirt & Peewee) & Girls 18U.
