Garrett Haar

Garrett was a new comer to our Pro Team last year and his impact was felt immediately.  Garrett is another inline player with an extensive ice background as he still plays in the E.  He is like an Oak Tree on his skates, but can still get up and down the floor with the quickest guys out there.  Garrett has a cannon from the point and isn’t afraid to lay down and block shots for the boys.  We are excited to have Garrett back this summer, look for him to emerge as one of our squad’s standouts.

We had the all of our pro players answer a few questions so you can get to know them a little better. Enjoy

If you could be any animal what would it be and why

I would probably be a shark. But i would be a cool shark. Not a human eater or shark eater and they’re at the top of the food chain. No one f*cks with a shark

What setup do you use for the flex wheels?

I like my toes and heel wheels set for max grip and the inner wheels set for speed. Love that balance

The one teammate you know not to f*ck with…

Probably Ranks. He’s pretty massive. Glad he’s on our squad.

Number and why you chose it…

I choose four because of Bobby Orr

Favorite song

Lady humps by the black eyed peas

Best inline hockey memory

Winning narch my peewee aaa year in San Jose against black ice for sure

Who is the most underrated player in the game?

Weirdest instruction a coach has ever given you:

Off the opening draw he had one of my teammates go stand in front of their bench while the center wins it back to me and I rip it off the guys stick in front of the bench while he’s angling his stick towards the opponents.. hahahaha

Guilty pleasure tv show…

The bachelorette

Best hockey advice you have ever received…

Just keep swimming

High glove or low blocker?

I’d like to say high glove but low blocker is the safer bet that I go with more of the time

Celebrity crush

Jennifer Aniston

What has been your experience playing for RV?

I have been playing with RV for about 3 or so years now and finally got the call up to the Pro Team last summer which was what I wanted for a long time.  We fell short in the semis at Statewars 15′ but I’d have to say we’re the hardest working group in the game and well always stick by each other no matter the circumstance. Our skill mixed in win the work ethic is what makes it fun.
